Apparently, I was the happiest girl on earth yesterday.
It's just a saying, okay?
But I was happy though. Super!
I'm not one who favour receiving flowers or clothes as gifts.
I mean, I appreciate all that. Clothes are useful BUT if they don't fit, I will feel super bad for the person cause it's very unlikely I will wear it.
Flowers? Meh.. I'm seriously bad at taking care of them.
Jewellery, thanks! I like it but I'll feel super obligated to take care of it with my life. I already have some from mom and I am on guard 24/7.
If my future husband is gonna buy me some, I'll receive it whole heartedly.
That's fine though.
I'm speaking of those trivial jewellery where I can't fit them with any of my outfits.
Basically, I'm a lazy person to dress up. I spend most of my time not bothering matching jewellery to my clothing.
Even on special occasions. No kidding.
Maybe it's due to me growing up in ways boys grow up and I transformed into half boy half girl when I became an adult.
P.S To me, I became an adult when I reached 18. That's when I was already a teacher and my responsibility for the children under my care became overwhelming.
So what happened yesterday?
My dearest Mr Shah bought me super duper advance birthday present a month ago. Two different books. One of which I've been anticipating; Revenge of Seven, and the other was another which I browsed through the library of books and got attracted to it; Percy Jackson and I forgot what. I've read all 5 books actually back in year 2012-2013 (around that period) plus Heroes of Olympus; The Lost Hero and very few pages of The Son of Neptune.
But yesterday, we went out on a date.
Months ago, he made a point to me that we'll go out and 'makan besar' once per month at least. He and I loves food, so that explains.
Yesterday, was one of it.
We take turns to pay for it though I feel so bad he have to pay for it though.
Now, which girl does that right?
I'm one of those rare breeds.
But it's okay. Looking at his efforts amazes me all the time.
I paid for our meal last month and he paid this month.
Here goes...
Hahaha!
During the meal, he said,"I'll have to bring you to Choa Chu Kang later. But first, we go buy you new pair of shoes."
New pair of shoes surprised me? No..
Bring me to Choa Chu Kang set my curiosity to sky scraped!
He knows me well enough to know it's really hard to surprise me.
Because I always find out. My brain is rolling on brain juice every micro second.
I saw how hard it was for him to keep his mouth shut because he might blurt out the plan.
I saw it.
I asked why, he said he had to fetch something.
My instincts went blurting out in my brain saying,"HAHA! He bought you something!"
Then I thought, but what?
RC Kite?
But he said days ago that he actually wanted to buy me something I've been wanting for so long and I don't remember what.
I can only remember my recent obsession over the RC Kite.
But he said he's not gonna buy that coz it's over his budget.
But even if it's something I wanted long time ago, it couldn't be cheap. I know myself so well. I know it must be a gadget that I wanted long ago.
Like duh! I won't want and obsesses over dresses or shoes or bags. Seriously.
Those were my thoughts. But I just stop probing questions and went along with it.
Seeing his efforts, I just keep quiet la. Why not?
Reached CCK, and I asked again..
"Why are we here by the way?"
You know what he said?
"I have some business to settle here."
Chey!
He used to work as a car groomer in CCK Lot One carpark though.
He asked,"Shall we go down and see if my friends are working today? Eh, maybe no need.. I doubt they're there.."
I replied,"Can what.. Let's see if Jason is there or not!"
He still said no..
Then I asked again,"Can you tell me why are we here in CCK?"
He said,"Well, actually I'm supposed to meet Jason at the entrance of the MRT for him to pass me something. I bought something from him and he have to rush off after.."
Inside my heart, I went "Ya right.. I was talking about Jason and now you talked about him.. "
I asked,"Buy what?"
He said,"The spray to repair car dents la.. I can't find a good one from shops so I got it from him.."
And, I believed him.
Knowing his aunty's car holds a dent, anyway.
After which I said,"Something tells me that you're not telling the truth.."
He said,"Up to you la.." In an almost agitated tone though. I know he wasn't agitated.
Didn't buy my shoe though. I dropped the idea. :)
Coz I'm lazy.
Then he asked,"Wanna go stand there and wait for Jason?"
I said,"Nah.. Can we sit in front of Mac. My legs don't feel so good."
We went over and he didn't even sit.
He got a call and left his bags with me and rushed off.
So I assumed it was Jason.
I waited....
After which, he came to me with a HUGE package.
And said,"Nah! Your advance birthday present! Sorry sayang for lying and cheating your feelings just now. I just wanted to surprise you. "
I was astounded.
This guy really got me this time.
Hahahaha!
I don't know how to react.
I asked whats inside the package and he said it was an RC Kite!
My goodness! I was saving money for it la macha!
And you bought it for me so soon???
Hahahaha!
He told me to open it immediately but I can't do it coz its very inconvenient.
What happened next was expected.
I hugged that thing refusing to let go.
I thanked him profusely.
Hehe!
I got an RC Kite la peeeeeepols!

I IS A HAPPY GIRL!
I was too happy that I brought it into my dreams.
I dreamt that I was flying the Hawk so high that I lost it.
HAHAHAHA!
Weekends, here I come.
Ze Hawk is here to rise!
Oh, the thing he said I wanted a long time ago was the PSP Vita or the DS. Either one.
See... I told you it wasn't some flimsy dress or what not!
He remembers it but I don't. This man is amazing!
Oh ya...
We went on a random movie date recently too.
This is my dearest Mr Shah...
He knows what I like and what I don't.
Sometimes purposely forgot all about it and go against my wants.
Hahaha!
He confessed that he's afraid of me but every other people is afraid of him.
Quite a weird fact but it's just because his reasons was, he's afraid I'll be angry at him and don't wanna talk to him.
Super pampered but nowadays, he has been pushing himself to lead me and correct my mistakes without fear.
I still wonder why he loves me so much knowing I'm a pain in the butt most of the time.
He knows I won't receive flowers well so he gave up the idea of buying me girly stuffs unless he sees that I need it. Well, usually I'll tell him.
